BINGO 2014 – Award Ceremony


The "Mohamed Cheaib Foundation " (Hope MCF) headed by Dr. Nadia Cheaib honored a group of civil society organizations active in their fields of specialization and launched an award named BINGO, meaning the best non-governmental association award, in a ceremony at the "Phoenicia" Hotel sponsored by the Minister of Social Affairs Rashid Derbas, represented by Fahmi Karami, and the United Nations Development Program.


The jury members included experts in Quality in NGO, Social & Economics development, Education and Financial stability from different countries.


Our initiative is to highlight the active distinguished in its field of community service, and correct them by a specialized committee Based on International Quality standards, and under the patronage of the Ministry of Social Affairs, the UNDP, and with the support of the expertise provided by QUALITY SYSTEMS INTERNATIONAL (QSI).


Three awards have been classifies to the following categories: Social Discipline, Healthcare and Elderly. More than fifty NGOs have applied to the Best Idealistic NGO Award and the winners were:



  • Social Discipline: KunHadi

  • Healthcare: Kids First

  • Elderly: Kibarouna

  • The second group of winners are:

  • Childhood: Sidon Orphan Welfare Society

  • Environment: Arc en ciel

  •  Education: Makhzoumi
